Summer Time

In winter I get up at night,
And dress by yellow candle-light.
In summer quite the other way
I have to go to bed by day.

– R.L. Stevenson

Summers are always a bit slow.  Folk are busy & rightfully enjoying themselves out of doors more often in all the daylight & glorious weather available.

We keep it somewhat light and short purposefully during these stretches. Hopefully there’s been a good variety and you know we leave them all available to watch when you have the time.

We’ll keep it up through August with no theme and then kick off September with our (postponed) focus on student film. And much more excitement into the fall.  There’s heaps of festivals on the go so hope you’re catching some #shorts and plotting for more in the future – like the new International Showcase at TIFF.

We’ve hearing great news about upcoming fest entries from some of  our favourite filmmakers and we’ll keep you posted as best we can.

We’re always happy to see you. We’re always looking for your suggestions and submissions. Thanks for all your support, likes, retweets, etc.  It’s all for you.
