new month, more shorts

“June, she’ll change her tune”

Well, we’ve no one here named June however we have had a mild change of plan. It’s possible you noticed that we started the month with the stunning spoken word piece “Midnight Rider”.    Taken from Jordan Harris’ book “American Death Songs” it features direction from Nina Corrado & an outstanding reading by Ryan Hurst (best known from “Sons of Anarchy).  We’ve had a great response but you will realize it’s not a student film.

Despite announcing, the plan has been pushed back slightly. We have a couple in the works that weren’t quite ready & would rather wait just a bit.

So no special theme for June.  There’s a few great #shorts in the holster, so to speak.  it’s a month with lots of festivals so we’ll try to feature some connections there.
Be on the lookout for surprises then. We do our best.  We’ve got an Academy award winning animation and more in store but you’ll have to tune in each week to find out.

Thanks for the support. We’re always happy to see your shining, smiling faces
