“April Come She Will…”
And so it goes. Our plan for the month is to show #shorts from countries that we have not yet. Some are difficult to find legal sources but we’re always searching, always aiming. Hoping to promote festivals & schools that reach out. Hoping to make folk aware of art they may not know.
Of course we show international films year round but it’s our focus for April. Our theme. After all, spring is all about renewal.
Our first recommendation is “Paska Kuningas” from up & coming filmmaker, Jenni Rahkonen. She’s won prizes at a number of international festivals for her work & is a talent to watch for sure.
